Common use of Increment Dates Clause in Contracts

Increment Dates. 1. An employee’s anniversary date for an experience increment shall be the first day of the school year and every year thereafter, except 2. Where, on initial hire, an employee has not completed a minimum of eight (8) full- time equivalent months of instructional employment in an accredited school in the previous school year, the employee’s anniversary date for an experience increment shall be January 1st, provided the employee will have completed a combined total of a minimum of eight (8) full-time equivalent months of instructional employment in two consecutive school years prior to January 1st.
