Independent Operations. Upon the terms and subject to the conditions of this Agreement, the Company will operate as a stand-alone entity independently from its Members.
Independent Operations. The Members agree that, upon the establishment of LLC-2 and LLC-3, such additional entities shall operate as self-sufficient entities in the exploitation of the properties owned thereby.
Independent Operations. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Northwest and Gulfstream shall independently contract with (i) the United States Postal Service for the transportation of mail (and the rates contained in the contract between the Postal Service and either party shall not apply and shall not be used by the other party for such services offered on flights operated by such other party); (ii) the DOT with respect to Essential Air Service transportation; and (iii) the FAA, the DOT or other governmental agencies with respect to all landing, departure and en route slots or other operational controls (and this Agreement has no affect on any rights either party has in any current or future slots to which such party is entitled).
Independent Operations. Except as hereinbefore provided in Clause M hereof and Article III, no Joint Operator shall be required to participate in the cost of drilling, deepening, or reworking any well hereunder.

It is understood and agreed by the parties that Tenant is acting entirely as an independent contractor and not in any respect as an agent, employee, representative, partner or co-venturer with Landlord. As such, Tenant shall, without interference by or on behalf of Landlord, have full authority over the operation of its business on the Leased Premises, including without limitation the authority to establish prices for its goods and services.

Each Related Refinery Owner and each applicable Relevant Asset Owner recognize that portions of each of their respective businesses and operations are conducted within the Refinery Complex, and that necessary interactions result from such proximity. The respective businesses and operations of the Related Refinery Owner and Relevant Asset Owner will be managed and conducted by them, as independent companies, and each shall act and conduct its business and operations independently wherever possible. Further, each Related Refinery Owner and Relevant Asset Owner recognize their mutual responsibility to support the capability of each other to conduct their respective businesses and operations for routine and non-routine activities (including start-ups, shut downs, turnarounds, emergencies and other infrequent events).

Independent Operations. CPF Branch specifically acknowledges that it is not an agent of CPF National and has no capacity to bind CPF National to any course of action. CPF National acknowledges that it has no capacity to bind CPF Branch to any course of action other than what both Parties have agreed to in this Agreement or any other agreement entered into between the Parties. As provincially incorporated entities, CPF Branches may enter into separate legally binding agreements with their own requirements and obligations, with funds flowing directly to support the Branch. CPF National has no role of shared risk or responsibility for the fulfilment of such independent commitments. Further, nothing in the Agreement shall be construed as creating any relationship between the Parties other than that expressly stated herein. Neither party shall have any right, power or authority to assume, create or incur any expenses, liability or obligation, express or implied, on behalf of the other, except as expressly provided herein.
