Industrial Disability Leave Without Pay. Each regular employee who is injured or contracts an industrial illness on duty shall be granted an unpaid disability leave by the appointing authority from the time accrued leave benefits are exhausted until the employee is released to return to work or the employee is declared permanent and stationary or a compromise and release is signed, whichever occurs first.
