Common use of INFORMAL - STEP ONE Clause in Contracts

INFORMAL - STEP ONE. When a cause for complaint occurs, the affected Employee(s)/Association shall within fifteen (15) working days request a meeting with his/her immediate supervisor or designee in an effort to resolve the complaint. The Association shall be notified and representative(s) thereof present with the Employee at such meeting. If the Employee is not satisfied with the result(s) of the meeting, or if the immediate supervisor or designee refused to provide such meeting, within five (5) working days of the request, he/she may formalize the complaint in writing and proceed to Step Two.

The Association shall be notified and representative(s) thereof present with the Employee at such meeting. If the Employee is not satisfied with the result(s) of the meeting, or if the immediate supervisor or designee refused to provide such meeting, within five (5) working days of the request, he/she may formalize the complaint in writing and proceed to Step Two.
