Common use of Information for the Union Clause in Contracts

Information for the Union. 7.1.1 The Employer shall provide the Union with a list of all Employees in the Bargaining Unit within thirty (30) days of signing the present Agreement. Such list shall include: name, date of hire and ending date, if any, job classification, rate of pay (stipend amount and/or salary), home address and telephone number (if provided to the Employer), and work email address. The confidentiality of individual data shall be respected by the Union, which shall use the information only to contact members of the Bargaining Unit.

Such list shall includeinclude as a minimum: unique identification number for each employee, name, classification, date of hire and ending hire, end date, if anyhours of work, job classificationbi-weekly salary, rate of pay (stipend amount and/or salary), home address funding department and telephone number (if provided to the Employer), and work email address. Other information may be added by mutual agreement of the Parties. The confidentiality of individual data shall be respected by the Union, which Union and shall use the information only to contact members of the Bargaining Unitnot be shared with third parties.
