Injury Leave Exception. Notwithstanding Section 2.E.3 above, an employee who is on injury leave as defined in Section 5 below for a period of six (6) months or more within the last twelve (12) month period and the employee is, or imminently will be, foregoing vacation credit accruals due to reaching the Maximum Balance, may have vacation credits converted to a cash pay payment as described in Section 2.E above.
