INSPECTION AND AUDIT. (a) All records related to this Contract (including records of Developer, its contractors, and its Subcontractors) shall be subject to all the Administrative and Audit Regulations. (b) The state auditor may conduct an audit or investigation of any entity receiving funds from the state directly under the Contract or indirectly through a subcontract under the Contract. Acceptance of funds directly under the Contract or indirectly through a subcontract under the Contract acts as acceptance of the authority of the state auditor, under the direction of the Legislative Audit Committee, to conduct an audit or investigation in connection with those funds. Under the direction of the Legislative Audit Committee, an entity that is the subject of an audit or investigation by the state auditor must provide the state auditor with access to any information the state auditor considers relevant to the investigation or audit. The Office of the Comptroller General of the United States, the Government Accountability Office, the Office of Inspector General, or any authorized representative of the U.S. Government shall also have this right of inspection. Developer shall ensure that this clause concerning the authority to audit funds received indirectly by contractors through Developer and Subcontractors through such contractors and the requirement to cooperate is included in any subcontract awarded in relation to this Contract.
