Common use of Inspector’s Field Office Clause in Contracts

Inspector’s Field Office. Contractor shall provide for the use of Inspector a separate trailer or temporary private office of not less than seventy-five (75) square feet of floor area to be located as directed by Inspector and to be maintained until removal is authorized by District. The office shall be of substantial waterproof construction with adequate natural light and ventilation by means of stock design windows. Door shall have a key type lock or padlock hasp. The Inspector’s field office shall have heating and air-conditioning and shall be equipped with a telephone, a telephone answering machine, a fax machine and use of an on-site copier at Contractor’s expense. A table satisfactory for the study of plans and two chairs shall be provided by Contractor. Contractor shall provide and pay for adequate electric lights, local telephone service, and adequate heat and air conditioning for the field office until authorized removal.
