Hospital-Association Committee (a) There shall be a Hospital-Association Committee comprised of representatives of the Hospital, one of whom shall be the Chief Nursing Officer or designate and of the Association, one of whom shall be the Bargaining Unit President or designate. The number of representatives is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions and the membership of the Committee may be expanded by mutual agreement.
Association Interview The Association will be allowed to interview newly employed nurses during the Hospital’s general orientation and, when possible, be notified of the date for the interview at least two (2) weeks in advance.
Association President The President of the Association has the right to visit schools. The President will coordinate the visits with the offices of the principals in order to facilitate the purpose of this visit. Visits that are made to solve special problems of teachers will be arranged in advance by notifying the office of the principal.
Cooperation in international fora The Parties shall endeavour to cooperate in all international fora where issues relevant to this partnership are discussed.
Teaching Staff Assigned to More Than One Building Each Educator who is assigned to more than one building will be evaluated by the appropriate administrator where the individual is assigned most of the time. The principal of each building in which the Educator serves must review and sign the evaluation, and may add written comments. In cases where there is no predominate assignment, the superintendent will determine who the primary evaluator will be.
Medical/Dental Appointments Where medical and/or dental appointments cannot be scheduled outside the employee's working hours, sick leave with pay shall be granted.
Medical and Dental Appointments An employee may attend a medical consultation, receive dental treatment or be absent because of sickness for less than one-half day without reduction of sick leave credits and/or pay.
Maintenance and Association The Promoter may manage and maintain the common parts and utilities of the Project by itself or may hand over these to the Maintenance Company for which all Allottees may be required to execute an Agreement (“Management Agreement”) with the Maintenance Company.
Supplemental Life Insurance In addition to the life insurance benefits provided by this agreement, employees may subscribe voluntarily and at their own expense for supplemental life insurance. Employees may subscribe for an amount not to exceed five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000), of which one hundred thousand ($100,000) is a guaranteed issue, provided the election is made within the required enrollment periods.
Association Notification Copies of all sabbatical applications, returning placement agreements and extension requests, as well as their disposition, shall be provided to the Association by the District upon request.
