Medical/Dental Appointments. (a) Where medical and/or dental appointments cannot be scheduled outside the employee's working hours, sick leave with pay will be granted in accordance with Clause 19.1(c) (Sick Leave Credits). (b) Where an employee's qualified medical practitioner refers the employee to a Specialist, then any necessary travel time, to a maximum of one working day, for the employee to visit such Specialist, will be granted in accordance with Clause 19.1(c) (Sick Leave Credits).

Medical/Dental Appointments. ‌ Where medical and/or dental appointments cannot be scheduled outside the employee's working hours, sick leave with pay shall be granted.
Medical/Dental Appointments. A seniority employee who requires time off during the work day to attend a medical or dental appointment for themselves or a dependent, may take up to two (2) separate half days paid leave per year for such appointments. In order to be paid for the period of absence, the employee must provide appropriate supporting documentation (i.e. appointment card, receipt, etc.) verifying the reason for the absence.
Medical/Dental Appointments. Employees may utilize lieu time, or flex time, in order to attend Medical or Dental appointments. If no lieu time is available, the Employee may request an unpaid leave of absence.

Medical/Dental Appointments. Employees granted leave to attend medical or dental appointments that could not otherwise be scheduled on days off may charge the time away from work to their unused sick leave to a maximum of twelve (12) hours per year. It is understood that employees will endeavour to schedule such appointments so as to minimize disruption to the working day.
Medical/Dental Appointments. Employees will make every reasonable effort to schedule medical and dental appointments at times when they are not otherwise scheduled for work. When this is not possible, employees will provide reasonable notice to the Employer and schedule such appointments at a mutually agreeable time in a manner such as to minimize the disruption to their normal work schedule. The Employer will allow up to one (1) hour for medical and dental appointments to be charged against the employee’s sick leave. Where the employee does not have sick leave or when medical and dental appointments exceed one (1) hour, Employees may utilize lieu time, flex time, vacation time or may request an unpaid leave of absence; alternatively, the employee may request permission to work “make-up time” to be applied to the absence. Such a request shall not be unreasonably denied.
Medical/Dental Appointments. 30.01 Employees shall make every reasonable effort to arrange medical and dental appointments outside their regular working hours. Upon request, an Employee shall be required to provide confirmation of the time of the medical or dental appointment and/or confirmation that they were unable to schedule such appointment outside their regularly scheduled hours of work. 30.02 In the case of an Employee being unable to arrange personal medical or dental appointments outside their regular working hours, the Employee may be granted leave with pay for up to two (2) days (thirteen (13) or fourteen (14) hours depending on the Employee’s regular hours of work) to be deducted from sick leave, per calendar year to attend such appointments. 30.03 The Employer may, at its discretion, grant leave with or without pay for medical/dental appointments for Employees who have exhausted their entitlement pursuant to Article 30.
