Integrated Special Education Class Size/Caseload. Any teacher in a K-5 “integrated special education position” in which the teacher is expected to be both the general education teacher and special education case manager for the students in the class shall have a class size which is at least 2 students below other general education teachers of the same grade level, and no more than 5 of the students being eligible for special education. Such teacher shall also have instructional assistant support necessary to serve the special education students in his or her class.
