  • Injury on Duty Any unit employee who suffers an injury while working during the course of his/her employment for the County shall be entitled to injury leave until said employee is able to return to work or is terminated in any manner and subject to any limitations imposed by this Article or State Law. Injury means a sudden and tangible happening of a traumatic nature, producing an immediate or prompt result and resulting from external force, including injuries to artificial members. Any injury sustained by an employee while engaging in an athletic or social event sponsored by the employer shall be deemed not to have arisen out of or in the course of employment unless the employee received remuneration for participating in such event.   • Convicted, Discriminatory, Antitrust Violator, and Suspended Vendor Lists In accordance with sections 287.133, 287.134, and 287.137, F.S., the Contractor is hereby informed of the provisions of sections 287.133(2)(a), 287.134(2)(a), and 287.137(2)(a), F.S. For purposes of this Contract, a person or affiliate who is on the Convicted Vendor List, the Discriminatory Vendor List, or the Antitrust Violator Vendor List may not perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under the Contract.   • RESPONDENT LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE TO GOVERNMENT PROPERTY The Respondent shall be liable for all damages to government-owned, leased, or occupied property and equipment caused by the Respondent and its employees, agents, subcontractors, and suppliers, including any delivery or cartage company, in connection with any performance pursuant to the Contract.
