Interconnection Customer Authority. Consistent with Good Utility Practice and this GIA and the GIP, the Interconnection Customer may take whatever actions or inactions with regard to the Generating Facility or the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities during an Emergency Condition in order to (i) preserve public health and safety, (ii) preserve the reliability of the Generating Facility or the Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities, (iii) limit or prevent damage, and (iv) expedite restoration of service. Interconnection Customer shall use Reasonable Efforts to minimize the effect of such actions or inactions on the Transmission System and the Transmission Owner’s Interconnection Facilities. Transmission Provider and Transmission Owner shall use Reasonable Efforts to assist Interconnection Customer in such actions.
