Interconnection Customer Authority. Consistent with Good Utility Practice and the GIA and the GIP, Interconnection Customer may take actions or inactions with regard to the Generating Facility or Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities during an Emergency Condition in order to (i) preserve public health and safety, (ii) preserve the reliability of the Generating Facility or Interconnection Customer’s Interconnection Facilities, (iii) limit or prevent damage, and (iv) expedite restoration of service. Interconnection Customer shall use Reasonable Efforts to minimize the effect of such actions or inactions on the Distribution System and Distribution Provider's Interconnection Facilities. Distribution Provider shall use Reasonable Efforts to assist Interconnection Customer in such actions.
