Interface Problems. An Interface Problem is defined as a technical problem in the operation of an aircraft or its systems experienced by Customer, the cause of which is not readily identifiable by Customer but which Customer believes to be attributable to either the design characteristics of the aircraft or its systems or the workmanship used in the installation of Supplier Products. In the event Customer experiences an Interface Problem, Boeing will, without additional charge to Customer, promptly conduct an investigation and analysis to determine the cause or causes of the Interface Problem. Boeing will promptly advise Customer at the conclusion of its investigation of Boeing’s opinion as to the causes of the Interface Problem and Boeing’s recommendation as to corrective action.
Interface Problems. If Buyer experiences technical problems in the operation of an Aircraft or its systems, the cause of which is not readily identifiable by Buyer but which Buyer believes to be attributable to the design characteristics of the Aircraft or its systems (Interface Problem), Boeing will, without additional charge to Buyer, promptly conduct an investigation and analysis to determine the cause or causes of the Interface Problem and to recommend such corrective action as may be feasible. Buyer will furnish to Boeing all data and information in Buyer's possession relevant to the Interface Problem, and will cooperate with Boeing in the conduct of investigations and tests. Boeing will promptly advise Buyer at the conclusion of its investigation of Boeing's opinion as to the causes of the Interface Problem and Boeing's recommendation as to corrective action.

If Buyer experiences any technical problem in the operation of the Aircraft or its systems due to malfunction or failure of an accessory, equipment or part, the cause of which, after due and reasonable investigation by Buyer, is not readily identifiable as attributable to the design characteristics of one or more components of the Aircraft (an “Interface Problem”) Seller shall, if requested by Buyer, and without charge to Buyer, promptly conduct an investigation and analysis of such Interface Problem to determine, if possible, the cause or causes of the Interface Problem and to recommend such corrective action. Buyer shall furnish to Seller all data and information in Buyer’s possession relevant to the Interface Problem, and shall cooperate with Seller in the conduct of its investigations and such tests as may be required. At the conclusion of its investigations, Seller shall promptly advise Buyer in writing of Seller’s opinion as to the cause or causes of the Interface Problem and Seller’s recommendations as to corrective action.
