Common use of Interrupted Service Clause in Contracts

Interrupted Service. Any individual with five (5) consecutive years of employment with the County who terminates and then is re-employed by the County within one (1) year from date of termination shall receive credit for prior years service in determining the appropriate category for annual leave benefits. Notwithstanding the foregoing, such an individual is subject to the probationary status requirements.
