Inverters and Transformers. The electricity produced by the panels is in direct current (DC) form and is converted by inverters into alternating current (AC). Each inverter is coupled with a medium voltage step-up transformer to increase the voltage of the power to a medium voltage of 34.5 kV which minimizes losses for collection of the power to the Facility Substation. The inverters and step-up transformers are mounted on concrete pads throughout the Facility.

Inverters and Transformers. The electricity produced by the panels is in direct current (DC) form and is converted by inverters into alternating current (AC). Each inverter is coupled with a medium voltage step-The step up transformer to will increase the voltage of to 115 kV to meet the power to a medium voltage of 34.5 kV which minimizes losses for collection of the power to the Facility Substationtransmission line. The inverters and step-up transformers transformer are mounted on concrete pads throughout located adjacent to the FacilityPOI.
