Investor Experience. Investor has (i) sufficient knowledge and experience in business and financial matters to evaluate the Company, its proposed activities and the risks and merits of this investment, (ii) the capacity to protect its own interests in connection with the purchase of the Shares by virtue of its business or financial expertise and (iii) the ability to accept the high risk and lack of liquidity inherent in this type of investment.
Investor Experience. The Purchaser represents that it is experienced in evaluating and investing in companies in the development stage, is able to fend for itself, has such knowledge and experience in financial and business matters as to be capable of evaluating the merits and risks of its investment in the Purchased Securities, and has the ability to bear the economic risks of its investment.

Investor Experience. The Investor has substantial experience in evaluating and investing in private placement transactions of securities in companies similar to the Company so that it is capable of evaluating the merits and risks of its investment in the Company and has the capacity to protect its own interests.
Investor Experience. BUYER represents to SELLERS and NCT that it is experienced in evaluating, investing in and acquiring companies such as ISLAND, is able to fend for itself in the transactions contemplated by this Agreement, has such knowledge and experience in financial and business matters as to be capable of evaluating the merits and risks of investment, and has the ability to bear the economic risks of the investment.
Investor Experience. ENEL represents that it and Buyer is able to protect its own interest in connection with the transactions contemplated by this Agreement, has such knowledge and experience in financial and business matters as to be capable of evaluating the merits and risks of investment, and has the ability to bear the economic risk of the investment. Subject to the Non-Disclosure Agreement dated June 19, 200 between ENEL and Echelon, whereby Echelon may limit the scope of its disclosure to ENEL, ENEL has been furnished with such materials (including financial forecasts for the second quarter of 2000) and has been given access to such information relating to Echelon as it or its qualified representative has requested and it has been afforded the opportunity to ask questions regarding Echelon and the Shares, all as it has found necessary to make an informed investment decision.
