INVOLUNTARY TRANSFER TO A HIGHER PAY GRADE. An involuntary transfer to a higher pay grade will result in the appropriate salary increase effective on the date of transfer. If an employee is involuntarily transferred to a lower pay grade, that employee shall retain the same salary for the remainder of the current school year. The salary shall reflect the appropriate reduction at the beginning of the next school year. Employees shall receive credit for appropriate experience and in the case of paraeducators, college hours.
