Job Security For Employees i. The College recognizes that the role of faculty is primary within the instructional activities of the College. Although effective delivery of post-secondary education and training requires flexibility to respond to the needs of a diverse range of clients, contracting out will not detract from the primary role of faculty employees. ii. Contracting out will not result in the lay-off, or loss of Non-Regular Seniority List right of first refusal of any employee covered by this agreement.

  • Shift Employees Employees who work rotating shift patterns or those who work qualifying shifts shall be entitled, on completion of 12 months employment on shift work, to up to an additional 5 days annual leave, based on the number of qualifying shifts worked.
