Joint Coordination. Interconnection Customer and Transmission Provider shall use Reasonable Efforts to coordinate with each other, following the Initial Synchronization Date, on technical matters related to the operation and maintenance of Interconnection Customer’s Generation Facility and the Interconnection Facilities as well as the Interconnection Service, Generation Imbalance Service, and Balancing Authority Area Service provided by Transmission Provider to Interconnection Customer. For the convenience of the Parties, Transmission Provider and Interconnection Customer shall each designate a lead representative for purposes of representing that Party at a meeting requested by the other Party on technical matters related to the operation and maintenance of Interconnection Customer’s Generation Facility and the Interconnection Facilities, as well as the Interconnection Service, Generation Imbalance Service, and Balancing Authority Area Service provided by Transmission Provider to Interconnection Customer. Interconnection Customer and Transmission Provider shall notify each other of their respective designations in writing in accordance with the notice provisions in Article 15. Such designations may be changed at any time by similar notice. At the request of either Party, representatives of each Party shall meet, at a reasonable time and place agreed upon by the representatives, to discuss technical matters related to the operation and maintenance of Interconnection Customer’s Generating Facility and the Interconnection Facilities as well as the Interconnection Service, Generation Imbalance Service, and Balancing Authority Area Service provided by Transmission Provider to Interconnection Customer, including: (a) data requirements and operating record requirements; (b) requirements, standards, and procedures for data acquisition equipment, protective equipment, and any other equipment or software; (c) one (1) year forecasts of maintenance and planned outage schedules of Transmission Provider's and Interconnection Customer's facilities at the Point of Interconnection; (d) the scheduling of maintenance and planned outages on the Interconnection Facilities, the Generating Facility and other facilities that impact the normal operation of the interconnection of the Generating Facility to the Transmission System; (e) the availability of equipment affecting the operation and maintenance of Interconnection Customer’s Generation Facility and the Interconnection Facilities or the Interconnection Service, Generation Imbalance Service, and Balancing Authority Area Service provided by Transmission Provider to Interconnection Customer; (f) Transmission Provider’s Technical Standards, Applicable Reliability Standards, any remedial action scheme applicable to the Interconnection Customer’s Generating Facility, or other operating protocols, safety or technical standards affecting the operation of the Generating Facility and the Interconnection Facilities or the Interconnection Service, Generation Imbalance Service, or Balancing Authority Area Service provided by Transmission Provider to Interconnection Customer; (g) the operating requirements of the Applicable Balancing Authority, the provision of Balancing Authority Area Service, and the use of dynamic transfers; and (h) other relevant operational and technical matters affecting the operation and maintenance of the Generating Facility and the Interconnection Facilities or the Interconnection Service, Generation Imbalance, or Balancing Authority Area Service provided by Transmission Provider to Interconnection Customer. For the convenience of the Interconnection Customer and Transmission Provider, such meeting may take place either in person or by telephone. Each Party shall use Reasonable Efforts to cooperate with the other Party in providing information reasonably required to coordinate technical matters related to the operation and maintenance of Interconnection Customer’s Generation Facility and the Interconnection Facilities as well as the Interconnection Service, Generation Imbalance Service and Balancing Authority Area Service provided by Transmission Provider to Interconnection Customer, subject to the confidentiality provisions in Article 22 of this GIA, the confidentiality provisions of Section 13.1 of Transmission Provider’s GIP, and Applicable Laws and Regulations.
