Utility Coordination. Identify all potential utility conflicts and provide preliminary office check plans showing the problem locations, posted to the City’s FTP site. Plans will clearly identify specific utility company facilities by color and by name (i.e. not just “gas” or “fiber optic”). ENGINEER shall include a conflict list for each utility, also posted to the FTP site. ENGINEER shall meet with utility company representatives to review plans and utility verification forms (Attachment No. 3 to Exhibit “A”) at each milestone date and as directed by the CITY and as determined necessary by the ENGINEER. This in- formation will be compiled into a summary report (Attachment No. 4 to Exhibit “A” also available on the City’s FTP site) maintained and updated by ENGINEER as necessary to present a cohesive and reflective status of utilities, and provided to the City as necessary. ENGINEER shall maintain involvement with utility companies until all conflicts have been resolved (not just identified). When appropriate, the City Engineer will approve the identification on plans of conflicts to be resolved during construction. ENGINEER shall meet with involved utility company/ies and project contractor to resolve any conflicts with utilities that occur during construction.

Utility Coordination. The Owner AGREES to coordinate the design for the installation of utility plans within the Plan of Subdivision and has produced a Composite Utility Plan (Schedule “H”) to the satisfaction of the City’s Engineering and Corporate Assets Department and the necessary utility authorities prior to the issuance of any Building Permits within the Plan of Subdivision. The Composite Utility Plan shall contain the plans required for the installation of primary and secondary electricity, telecommunication, street lighting, and/or gas services as available.
Utility Coordination. The Consultant shall make every reasonable effort to minimize the impact to existing utilities and also minimize lengths of relocated or proposed additional utilities.
Utility Coordination. When an individual Utility identifies a major infraction for a Contractor, all Utilities will be notified of the circumstances of the major infraction. The Contractor will have five (5) business days from the date a notice of action by a Utility is issued to provide a response if it believes there are extenuating circumstances that merit reconsideration of the action by the Utility. The Utility will provide a response within ten (10) business days and either confirm initial remediation action or issue a modified response.
Utility Coordination. 1. conduct a records research and acquisition of available as-built utility records. This information will be placed on the base map and provided to all utility companies.
2. designate known utilities throughout the ROW, as provided by utility owners.
3. conduct utility coordination meetings to review record drawings and proposed improvements with affected utility owners individually at each phase submittal. Utilities that may be affected include: El Paso Electric Company, Texas Gas Service, El Paso Water Utilities, Time Warner Cable, TW Telecom, ATT Telephone, AT&T Distribution Cable, MCI, QWEST Communications, and others.
4. prepare and issue minutes for each meeting.
5. provide base map information to all utility companies at each submittal phase.
6. obtain clearance letters and provide copies of documentation to the CRRMA at the Final submittal phase. Utilities can request that their new service lines be included as part of the bid package provided that the utility company signs an agreement with the CRRMA and funding is provided. REGIONAL MOBILITY AUTHORITY (the “CRRMA”), and (the “Engineer”).
PART I. The Engineer will perform engineering services generally described as in accordance with the project description attached hereto and made a part of this Work Authorization. The responsibilities of the CRRMA and the Engineer as well as the work schedule are further detailed in exhibits A, B and C which are attached hereto and made a part of the Work Authorization.
PART II. The maximum amount payable under this Work Authorization is $----- and the method of payment is Specified Rate Basis as set forth in Attachment E of the Contract. This amount is based upon fees set forth in Attachment E, Fee Schedule, of the Contract and the Engineer’s estimated Work Authorization costs included in Exhibit D, Fee Schedule, which is attached and made a part of this Work Authorization.

Utility Coordination. The CONTRACTOR is to coordinate any utility improvements and / or relocations for this project. The CONTRACTOR shall not use utility delays as a basis for additional compensation. Contractor shall be responsible for all coordination with utilities and shall cooperate fully with utility companies in the relocation of their facilities.
Utility Coordination. The Contractor is responsible for all coordination effort with regards to utilities on the project including temporary service interruptions, tie-ins, etc. and scheduling the inspection of all Contractor Work. The Contractor shall be responsible for any financial claims associated with missed inspections, repeat inspections, or any costs associated with re-working portions of the project due to failed inspections or lack of inspections based on the Contractor's failure to schedule and follow through with same.
