Jury Duty and Compulsory Court Leave. A. When it becomes necessary for a teacher to accept jury duty, or the teacher has been subpoenaed to court, the teacher shall notify their building principal as soon as possible of such duty. Such leave shall not be deducted from any other type of leave. B. When granted such leave, the teacher shall be replaced by a qualified substitute according to Board-adopted policy.
