Common use of JURY DUTY LEAVE AND COMPENSATION Clause in Contracts

JURY DUTY LEAVE AND COMPENSATION. If a Member of the Bargaining Unit absent on jury duty needs a substitute, this substitute shall be paid by the District. The Member shall incur no loss of salary and shall be entitled to keep all monies paid by the court for jury services. A Member shall be paid by the District for only the actual number of days of jury duty for which he/she has been reimbursed by the court. If the Member is excused from jury duty for an entire day, he/she is expected to be at his/her assignment.
