Oversee the quality of education services • Ensure the quality of FPV training services are kept at the requisite level • Assist in the continuous evaluation and development of education and training • Assist the Manager CEU with organising professional development and internal meetings where required to ensure that education standards of preceptorship within FPV is maintained • Contribute to online learning development and delivery as directed by the Manager CEU Education and training • Plan education, training and professional development for health professionals, youth and community workers and community members • Deliver effective educational training onsite and at locations across Victoria • Assist FPV clinical staff to support learners throughout training courses and clinical placements • Be involved in the training of nurse preceptors Direct clinical care The Nurse Educator will perform all core duties for sexual and reproductive health nurses as outlined in the FPV certified agreement classification definitions. General - Comply and participate with OH&S legislation and operate in accordance with established Health, Safety and Wellbeing practices and procedures - Adhere to FPV’s policies and procedures and relevant legal requirements - In addition to the duties and key result areas specified in this position description, perform any other tasks duties and responsibilities appropriate to the position and any other reasonable duties specifically assigned KEY SELECTION CRITERIA: Mandatory Meets all requirements specified in the classification structure for Nurses as outlined in the FPV and ANMF (Vic branch) Enterprise Agreement 2017. • Registered Nurse Division 1 qualification • Family Planning Victoria Certificate of Sexual and Reproductive Health (FPV course) or equivalent • Demonstrated experience in an advanced nursing practice role in a RSH clinical environment • Demonstrated experience in the provision of clinical training and supervision to a variety of health professionals in RSH • Xxxxxx developed written and verbal communication skills and proven interpersonal and problem-solving skills • Project co-ordination and delivery skills • Advance group work and/or education/training experience • Demonstrated ability to design, deliver and evaluate accredited training in sexual and reproductive health • Demonstrated ability to instruct nurses in theory and practice work to achieve preceptorship. • Current driver’s licence • Valid Working with Children check The incumbent will also be required to undertake and complete a Satisfactory National Police Check.
