Common use of Kilometre Allowance Clause in Contracts

Kilometre Allowance. Teachers who are required to use their personal vehicles in order to carry out their regular duties or other Board duties shall be reimbursed at a rate per kilometre, established as follows: Each July the Kilometre Allowance should be adjusted to reflect the rate established by the Victoria aggregate cost of operating a mid-size automobile or, when the Victoria aggregate cost is not available, the British Columbia aggregate cost. The Board will provide the GVTA with the cost analysis used to determine the current Vehicle Standard Cost as established by the Runzheimer Vehicle Standard Cost Schedule or, if not available, another source as agreed to by the GVTA and the Board.
