km/h. In no case the vehicle test speed shall be reduced to a vehicle speed below 40 km/h, or (ii) The engine load is reduced to avoid a downshift to a gear ratio where nMAX is exceeded. If possible, the manufacturer shall take measures to avoid an acceleration value awot_test greater than 2.0 m/s2. If possible, the manufacturer shall take measures to avoid an engine speed higher than nMAX. Table 1 in Appendix 1 to Annex 3 provides examples for valid measures to enable a test condition within the above specified boundaries. Any measure used by manufacturer for the above-mentioned purposes shall be documented in the test report. The achieved acceleration awot_test is then used for the calculation of the partial power factor kP (see paragraph 3.1.2.1.3.) instead awot_ref."
km/h. The test shall comprise of three phases B-D, if the fuel is at least at temperature of 20 °C. Otherwise the test shall comprise four phases A–D.
km/h. At reasonable noise and out-of-cluster interference levels at the RS positions, Kalman predictors can provide sufficient channel prediction accuracy for these “pedestrian” UEs. In our setting, the use of prediction instead of using outdated CSI almost triples the prediction horizon for which acceptable accuracy is obtained on average. The useful range e.g. corresponds to prediction horizons (feedback loop latencies) of 15 ms for 5km/h users at 2.66 GHz and to horizons of 5 ms for velocities of 57 km/h at 700 MHz.
km/h. The dummy shall cross line A (Figure 1 of Appendix 1) with a tolerance of ±0.5 m at the same time as the vehicle cross line B (Figure 1 of Appendix 1) with a tolerance of ±0.5 m. If the acceleration distance cannot be achieved, adjust bicycle starting position and vehicle corridor length by the same amount. 3 See ECE/TRANS/196, para. 91 on the Convention on Road Signs and Signals of 1968 European Agreement Supplementing the Convention and Protocol on Road Markings, Additional to the European Agreement. The lateral deviation of the dummy with respect to a straight line connecting initial starting position and theoretical collision point (as defined in Figure 1 of Appendix 1) shall be maximum ±0.2 m.
