Import/Export In addition to compliance by Supplier with all export laws and regulations, VITA requires that any data deemed “restricted” or “sensitive” by either federal or state authorities, must only be collected, developed, analyzed, or otherwise used or obtained by persons or entities working within the boundaries of the United States.
Data Export Except as permitted in writing by Citizens’ Contract Manager or designee, Vendor and Vendor Staff are prohibited from: (a) performing any Services outside of the United States; or, (b) sending, transmitting, or accessing any Citizens Confidential Information outside of the United States.
Export 12.1 Export laws and regulations of the United States and any other relevant local export laws and regulations apply to the Services. Exports The Parties acknowledge that the export of technical data, materials or products is subject to the exporting Party receiving any necessary export licenses and that the Parties cannot be responsible for any delays attributable to export controls which are beyond the reasonable control of either Party.
