Common use of Labor Management Communication Meetings Clause in Contracts

Labor Management Communication Meetings. The College and the Association shall meet once per academic quarter and/or upon mutual agreement to discuss administration of this Agreement and other areas of mutual interest. This shall not preclude additional and/or special meetings upon request at a mutually agreeable time, place, and date. Both parties shall submit an agenda of items to discuss. Neither Party shall have any control over the selection of the representative of the other party. These meetings are not intended to bypass the grievance procedure and shall not constitute an invitation to renegotiate the provisions of this Agreement. It is further agreed that nothing in this Section shall be construed to obligate either Party to modify, limit, restrict or reduce their rights or prerogatives as outlined elsewhere in this Agreement.
