Termination of Deduction. The University's responsibility for deducting dues and other authorized deductions from an employee's salary shall terminate automatically upon either (a) thirty (30) days written notice from the employee to the University, and to the UFF revoking that employee's prior deduction authorization, or (b) the transfer of the authorizing employee out of the bargaining unit.
Termination of Deduction. No deductions under this Article shall be made from paychecks from Union members who have terminated their employment or transferred out of the Bargaining Unit prior to the second payday of the month, unless they have worked or received paychecks equivalent to five (5) workdays or more in that month.
Termination of Deduction. Deductions for PBA dues shall continue until either: 1) revoked by the employee by providing the University and the PBA with thirty (30) calendar days written notice that the employee is terminating the prior check off authorization, 2) revoked pursuant to Section 447.507, Florida Statutes, 3) the termination of employment, or 4) the transfer, promotion, or demotion of the employee out of this bargaining unit. If these deductions are continued when any of the above situations occur, the PBA shall, upon notice of the error, reimburse the employee for the deductions that were improperly withheld.

An employee shall cease to be subject to deductions effective as of the pay period following receipt of written notice of revocation of dues deduction authorization in the Payroll Office. The Union shall be notified by the University of the names of such employees following the end of the pay period in which the termination of dues deduction authorization took place.
Termination of Deduction. The Employer shall be relieved from making such deduction upon (a) termination of employment, or (b) transfer to a job other than one covered by the bargaining unit, or (c) revocation of the deduction authorization in accordance with its terms or with applicable law.

Deductions for Union dues and/or uniform assessments shall continue until either: 1) revoked by the employee by providing the Board and the Secretary-Treasurer of Local 850 with thirty (30) days written notice that he is terminating the prior checkoff authorization, 2) the expiration of the term of this collective bargaining agreement, 3) the termination of employment, or 4) the promotion or demotion of the authorizing employee out of this bargaining unit.

The College’s responsibility for deducting dues and uniform assessments, if any, from an employee’s salary shall terminate automatically upon either (1) thirty (30) calendar days following receipt by the Human Resources Office of a written notification from the employee revoking that employee’s authorization of deductions, or (2) the discontinuance of the authorizing employee’s status within the bargaining unit. (1) thirty (30) days written notice from the faculty member to both the University Human Resource Services office and UFF revoking the faculty member’s prior deduction authorization, or
(2) the termination of employment of the faculty member.
(b) The Office of Human Resource Services shall provide UFF with a copy of any written authorization from a faculty member terminating dues or other deductions within ten (10) days of the date the authorization was received.

The University shall notify the UFF-GAU Chapter of all terminations of deduction prior to their effective date. Employees who have valid dues check-of authorizations filed with the University, whose dues check-off is discontinued because of a leave without pay or movement to a non-profit position, shall have their dues check-off resumed upon return to pay status within the bargaining unit, provided the absence from the unit is not longer than two consecutive semesters (i.e., Fall-Spring, Spring-Summer, or Summer-Fall).
