LABORATORY SYSTEMS. A. Fume hood exhaust will be discharged by high plume, induced draft fans. Two (2) fans sized for 16,000 CFM each will be provided. Units shall be Strobic to match existing laboratory exhaust fans on the building. B. Room exhaust quantity shall be based on the maximum of hood exhaust requirements, cooling load, or six air changes per hour. To ensure proper pressure relationships, maintain an offset of 150 cfm per room door shall be maintained between the supply air flow and the exhaust air flow. C. When the labs are occupied, hood exhaust shall be designed for 80 ft. per minute face velocity with the sash open 18 inches. When the labs are unoccupied and all hood sashes are closed, the associated exhaust fans shall reduce the hood exhaust flow. D. A sash sensor shall be provided at each hood. E. A dual output infrared type occupancy sensor shall be provided for each laboratory aisle. F. Laboratory exhaust fans shall be mixed flow, induced dilution type to meet Code requirements. G. Air Distribution: Central air systems will be located at the roof level with supply, return, and general exhaust risers in a duct chase between the buildings. Installation of low-pressure ductwork from the main supply air ring duct to Tenant VAV is part of tenant finish. The fume hood exhaust and general exhaust risers shall inter-connect on the first and second floors routed above or near the laboratory spaces. Return air shall be ducted or from each office area return air plenums to the duct risers. 1. Supply air systems shall be from indoor air handing unit(s) located in rooftop penthouse, laboratory exhaust fans and general exhaust fans may be rooftop mounted.

  • Laboratory a. Drug tests shall be conducted by laboratories licensed and approved by SAMSHA which comply with the American Occupational Medical Association (AOMA) ethical standards. Upon advance notice, the parties retain the right to inspect the laboratory to determine conformity with the standards described in this policy. The laboratory will only test for drugs identified in this policy. The City shall bear the cost of all required testing unless otherwise specified herein. b. Tests for all controlled substances, except alcohol, shall be by oral fluid testing and shall consist of two procedures, a screen test and, if that is positive, a confirmation test. c. To be considered positive for reporting by the laboratory to the City, both samples must be tested separately in separate batches and must also show positive results on the confirmatory test. d. In the event of a positive test, the testing laboratory will perform an automatic confirmation test on the original specimen at no cost to the Covered Employee. In addition, the testing laboratory shall preserve a sufficient specimen to permit an independent re-testing at the Covered Employee’s request and expense. The same, or any other, approved laboratory may conduct re-tests. The laboratory shall endeavor to notify the designated MRO of positive drug, alcohol, or adulterant tests results within five (5) working days after receipt of the specimen.

  • Secondary Systems The Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner shall each cooperate with the other in the inspection, maintenance, and testing of control or power circuits that operate below 600 volts, AC or DC, including, but not limited to, any hardware, control or protective devices, cables, conductors, electric raceways, secondary equipment panels, transducers, batteries, chargers, and voltage and current transformers that directly affect the operation of Developer or Connecting Transmission Owner’s facilities and equipment which may reasonably be expected to impact the other Party. The Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner shall each provide advance notice to the other Party, and to NYISO, before undertaking any work on such circuits, especially on electrical circuits involving circuit breaker trip and close contacts, current transformers, or potential transformers.

  • Manufacturing (a) The Supplier shall without limitation be responsible, at no additional cost to the Purchaser, for: sourcing and procuring all raw materials for the Products; obtaining all necessary approvals, permits and licenses for the manufacturing of the Products; providing sufficient qualified staff and workers to perform the obligations under this Purchase Agreement; implementing and maintaining effective inventory and production control procedures with respect to the Products; and handling other matters as reasonably requested by the Purchaser from time to time. (b) The Supplier shall not change any process, material, component, packaging or manufacturing location without the Purchaser’s express prior written approval.

  • Laboratory Testing All laboratories selected by UPS Freight for analyzing Controlled Substances Testing will be HHS certified.
