Common use of Layoff of Full-time Teaching Faculty Clause in Contracts

Layoff of Full-time Teaching Faculty. 1. If the College determines to reduce the amount of work to be performed by Teaching Faculty actively working within a program or department, it will attempt to achieve the reduction by reducing assignments of part-time Teaching Faculty, consistent with scheduling priorities described in Article XIII Employment Practices provided the remaining staff are available and are well-qualified to satisfactorily perform the required work.
