LEAD BASE PAINT. The Resident acknowledges receipt of the booklet published by the United States Environmental Protection Agency “Protect Your Family From Lead in Your Home.” Resident agrees that he or she has received the Disclosure of Information on Lead-Based Paint and/or Lead Based Paint Hazards, which is fully executed and incorporated herein by reference.
LEAD BASE PAINT. Landlords are required by Federal Law to disclose known information on lead based paint hazards. This applies to houses built prior to 1978, which may have lead based paint.
LEAD BASE PAINT. The Agency and Contractor agree not to use lead-based paint in or on the structure(s) being or improved under this contract and to comply with the elimination of lead-based paint hazards in accordance with the HUD Lead-Base Paint Regulations, 24 C.F.R. Part 35.
LEAD BASE PAINT. Greccio agrees that any sale of the Property, construction or rehabilitation of residential structures with assistance provided under this Agreement shall be subject to HUD lead-based paint regulations at 24 CFR 570.608 and 24 C.F.R. Part 35. Lead-based paint brochure is attached as Exhibit D. Greccio agrees to abide by the provisions of 24 CFR 570.611 with respect to conflicts of interest and covenants that it presently has no financial interest and shall not acquire any financial interest, direct or indirect, which could conflict in any manner or degree with the performance of services as required under this Agreement. Greccio further covenants that in the performance of this Agreement, no person having a financial interest shall be employed or retained by Greccio. This conflict of interest provision applies to any person who is an employee, agent, consultant, officer, or elected official or appointed official of the City, or of any designated public agencies or providers which are receiving funds under the HOME program. Greccio shall establish safeguards to prohibit employees from using their positions for a purpose that is or gives the appearance of being motivated by a desire for private gain for themselves or others, particularly those with whom they have family, business or other ties. Greccio further agrees to abide by the Anti-Lobby Certification attached as Exhibit E and made a part of this Agreement.

  • LEAD-BASED PAINT The Owner shall be responsible for providing information about the Property in regard to lead-based paint. It is understood that in accordance with 42 U.S. Code § 4852d that all occupants of residential property must be made aware of the existence of lead-based paint in residential dwellings built prior to January 1, 1978.
