LEAD PERSON PAY. Effective 7/1/97, Lead Pay provision shall be implemented, as follows: 5.7.9.1 Employees designated by their supervisor as lead workers shall be entitled to a ten dollar ($10.00) per day premium only in situations involving: 5.7.9.1.1 Regularly assigned to plan, design, sketch, layout detail, and estimate or order materials when said work is outside the regular job description and duties of the class. 5.7.9.1.2 When assigned to team maintenance and only when the supervisor recommends that said assignment meets the description in section 5.7.9.1.1 above. 5.7.9.1.3 notwithstanding the provisions contained herein, an employee receiving lead pay in 1996-97 and who does not meet the criteria described in section 5.7.9.1.1 and 5.7.9.1.2, above, shall continue to receive lead pay until such time as the salary range for his/her classification exceeds the 1996-97 pay level, including the lead pay premium.
