Leave at Half Pay. The Employee may apply for annual leave, personal leave, parental leave, compassionate leave or long service leave at half pay. Employer approval for such leave arrangements will be subject to capacity to maintain workplace activities in the Employee’s absence. Any public holiday that falls during a period of leave on half pay will be paid at full pay. Child care expenses will be in accordance with clause 39, Section I of this Agreement (Child Care), excepting if an Employee is given short notice of the requirement to work overtime. The Employer will give consideration to reasonable requests to reimburse the Employee for dependent care expenses.
Leave at Half Pay. 50.1 An employee may request, in writing, that a period of annual, personal, long service leave or maternity and paternity leave be taken at half pay. It is at the discretion of the CEO to approve this request.
Leave at Half Pay a) By agreement between Warrigal and the employee, the employee may be authorised to take a period of paid leave at half pay.

(a) You may take your personal leave at half pay.
(b) When personal leave is taken at half pay, leave credits will be deducted at half the duration.
Leave at Half Pay. If your recovery period will exceed your leave balance, you can take your personal leave at half pay by speaking to your People Leader and providing a medical certificate or written statement from your medical practitioner with your estimated date of return.
Leave at Half Pay. (a) You may take recreation leave at half pay when a minimum of one week at half pay is applied for or in the case of shift workers spans one whole shift cycle that falls between days off.
(b) Shorter periods at half pay can only be taken with the approval of your manager. When assessing requests your manager will consider the workplace leave plan and whether approving the request has any impact on your team.
(c) When recreation leave is taken at half pay, leave credits will be deducted at half the duration.
Leave at Half Pay. (1) An employee may request RACV to grant the employee an amount of long service leave—
(a) twice as long as the amount to which the employee would otherwise be entitled; and
(b) at a rate of pay equal to half the employee's ordinary pay.
(2) RACV must grant a request made under sub-section (1) if it is reasonable to do so having regard to the needs of the employee and the needs of RACV’s business.
Leave at Half Pay. 1. Applications for leave at half pay for accrued annual and long service leave may be made to the Branch/General Secretary.
2. Applications for leave at half pay should be submitted at least six weeks prior to the commencement of the leave.
3. Leave at half pay may be taken for periods of extended leave of no less than four weeks duration.
4. An employee applying for leave at half pay shall be required to clear all accrued leave entitlements.
5. For the purposes of accrual of entitlements during periods of half pay the following shall apply:
(a) Half pay arrangements are recognised as financial provisions which provide benefit to the employee, including tax benefit.
(b) Calculation of accruals will utilise the actual accrual amount, e.g. 26 weeks half pay will be calculated as 13 weeks full pay and 13 weeks leave without pay.
6. Calculations and approval for leave at half pay shall be confirmed at least one full pay period prior to the commencement of the leave at half pay.
7. Leave without pay as a result of half pay leave, shall not constitute a break in service. However, no entitlements will accrue for the period of the leave without pay component.
8. Any salary increase or annual increment will be deferred for the period of the leave without pay component.
Leave at Half Pay. When a paid leave entitlement is accessed at half pay (as applicable), half the amount of leave actually taken at half pay will be deducted from the employee’s leave balance.
