Leave Due to Disaster. In the event of a disaster which destroys or renders a County-occupied building unsafe, the employees who work in that building may be released and their regular pay shall continue until the end of that working day. Thereafter, the employee may use authorized leave accruals until exhausted or until the employee is called back to work. If the employee has no leave accruals, all time off, excluding the day of the incident shall be without pay.
