LEAVE FOR ASSIGNMENT TO SPECIAL PROJECT. An AHS employee who is assigned to a special project, including temporary appointments to another governmental agency or institution, may be granted a leave of absence without pay by the Department Head for the duration of said employee’s assignment to the special project.

LEAVE FOR ASSIGNMENT TO SPECIAL PROJECT. An AHS employee employee, who is assigned to a special project, including temporary appointments to another governmental government agency or institution, may be granted a leave of absence without pay by the Department Head for the duration of said employee’s 's assignment to the special project. At the end of such leave, AHS will return the employee to his/her old position or a similar position in that title at the appropriate pay rate.
