Aegon has a very diverse group of employees who live in a wide variety of family structures. Room for family bonding is important for all families, regardless of the family structure. This is why the person who is actually raising/ caring for a child is entitled to the various types of leave set forth in the Work and Care Act (Wet Arbeid en Zorg [WAZO]) and the additional agreements related to this in the CLA. This leave is also called rainbow leave. The definitions of the terms child and parent are adapted to this (see appendix 1).
