Leave of Absence Due to Injury or Illness. (a) When an Employee suffers an injury, whether on the job or not, or suffers an illness preventing him from reporting to work, he will automatically be granted leave of absence until such time as his doctor states he can resume work. In the event of a dispute the Employer reserves the right to obtain independent medical assessments.
