Leave of Absences. Resident has available to him/ her leaves of absences, including family, parental, medical and personal in accordance with EINSTEIN applicable policies, including by not limited to Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) Policy, Death in the Family Policy, Personal Leave Policy, and Military Leave Policy (policy and any policy updates, shall be furnished to the Resident at the commencement of training under EINSTEIN auspices). The Residency Program Director shall provide written policy on the effects of leaves of absences on satisfying the criteria for completion of the residency program and for access to eligibility for certification by relevant specialty Board at the commencement of training.
Leave of Absences. A leave of absence, subject to the College’s discretion may be granted for a minimum of one term’s absence. All requests for a planned leave of absence from the College, for one term or more, must be submitted in writing to the relevant Head of School for approval at least one full term in advance of the commencement of the leave. The request must include the proposed dates of absence and the reason for the absence. The request can be granted only where all Tuition Fees and Charges and any other amounts owing to the College at the time of the request have been paid in full. For an approved leave of absence, 30% of the applicable Tuition Fees will be charged in advance as a holding fee to guarantee re-entry. This is non-refundable and not offset against future Tuition Fees. In addition to the holding fee, the notebook payout fee will be charged to your Family Account. During a leave of absence, the Student will be provided with a broad outline of the curriculum. A leave of absence will not be considered, nor will Tuition Fees or Charges be refunded where schoolwork is still provided, assessed and supervised and/or reports submitted. On a Student’s final day prior to commencing a leave of absence, any College issued device must be returned to the Centre for Computing and Communications (CCC). Should the parent(s) elect to retain the device throughout the leave of absence period, approval must be granted by the Principal. Upon approval, the full payout fee for the device will be charged.
Leave of Absences. The Company shall pay pension contributions for employees who are absent from work and in receipt of Workers' Compensation benefits.

Leave of Absences. The following leaves cannot be added to other leaves provided in other Collective Agreements or policies. The leaves in the present Article will be paid in accordance with the Employee’s scheduled hours of work as long as they were scheduled to work on the day or days they are absent.
Leave of Absences. The Company may grant “Leave of Absence” without pay to any employee with legitimate personal reasons.
19.01 The request must be submitted in writing to the employee’s supervisor at least two (2) weeks in advance, except in the case of an emergency.
19.02 The “Leave of Absence” will be granted for a specific number of hours or days up to a maximum of three (3) months; however, an extension may be granted under exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the Company.
19.03 If the employee accepts other employment during the “Leave of Absence” it will be considered that he, or she has terminated his or her employment with Kubota.
19.04 The employee will make his, or her own arrangements with the Company re payment of welfare benefits, etc.
19.05 The Company will grant leave of absence without pay for up to one (1) week periods to not more than two (2) employees to serve as delegates of the Union or for other Union business provided such leave is requested at least one (1) week in advance. It is further agreed that the two (2) employees will not be from the same department unless permission is granted by the Senior Management of the Company or his designate.
Leave of Absences. The Seller agrees to continue coverage of those Employees who are on short-term disability leave as of the Closing Date (the “Affected Employees”) under the Seller’s short-term disability plan in accordance with its terms, as may be amended from time to time, until such time that each such Affected Employee is no longer eligible for such coverage. The Purchaser shall reimburse the Seller in arrears on the last day of each month for actual costs incurred by the Seller with respect to the participation of such Affected Employees under the short-term disability plan. The Purchaser shall employ the Affected Employees in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Article VI at such time that such individuals are able to return and present themselves for work with the Purchaser; provided, however, that the Purchaser shall not be required to offer employment under this provision to any Affected Employee who does not apply for such employment prior to the later of (i) six months after the Closing Date, or (ii) the expiration of any period under applicable Law. In the event that the Affected Employees become eligible for long-term disability benefits under the Seller’s long-term disability plan in accordance with its terms, as may be amended from time to time, the Seller shall provide such individuals with long-term disability benefits at the Seller’s expense.

(ii) Special Leave An indeterminate period. *

(iv) Maternity Leave A maximum period of twenty-six (26) weeks.
(v) Parental- Adoption Leave Birth Fathers: A maximum period of thirty-seven (37) weeks. Birth Mothers: A maximum period of thirty-five (35) weeks (in addition to maternity leave). Adoptive Mothers and Fathers: A maximum period of thirty-seven (37) weeks. Note: If Article 19.06(d) is applicable, then the duration of the leave replacement shall be extended by the additional leave granted, and is not to exceed the maximum entitlement provided under Article 19.06(e).

(xii) Compassionate Care Leave Period of leave to be taken in accordance with the BC Employment Standards Act and Article 19.15.
Leave of Absences. Section 1. Personal leaves of absence for a duration not to exceed six (6) months may be granted by the Employer to employees for the following reasons: Settlement of an estate, serious illness of a member of the employee's immediate family, child care, education and an extended trip. Such leaves of absence shall be unpaid, however, the employee shall not lose any seniority while on a granted leave of absence.
Section 2. An employee who is desirous of a personal leave of absence shall be required to request the leave of absence to the Employer in writing.
