Leave of Absence for Elected Position. Any employee elected to a state or national position, requiring full time service, may request a leave of absence, without pay, for the term of the office. At the end of the term of office, the employee will resume the same assignment held at the time of the leave request or an equivalent position. The employee will return to the same level of seniority, which he/she had at the time the leave was granted.
