LEAVE OF ABSENCE FOR UNION WORK. 24.1 An employee who is elected to a Union office, or who accepts work with the Union on a full-time basis for more than one year, shall be placed on a leave of absence without pay. During such leave of absence there will be a continuation of pension and benefits for permanent employees.
