Common use of Leave Replacement Teacher Clause in Contracts

Leave Replacement Teacher. When a regularly employed member of the bargaining unit is granted a leave by the Board of Directors, the person hired to fill in for the duration of the leave will be considered a leave replacement teacher and treated as any other "teacher" defined above for the period of their employment. When a substitute is employed in the same assignment for twenty consecutive working days, they will be considered a leave replacement teacher subject to all terms and conditions of this Agreement for the duration of that assignment.
