LEGISLATED BENEFITS. During the term of this Agreement, the Employer shall continue in effect and employees shall enjoy the benefits, rights and obligations of the group insurance health and life plan applicable to all Illinois State employees pursuant to the provisions of the State Employees Group Insurance Act of 1971 (5 ILCS 375) as amended or superseded. During the term of this Agreement, the Employer shall continue in effect, and the employees shall enjoy the benefits, rights and obligations of the retirement program provided in 40 ILCS 5 as amended or superseded. Employees shall make the employee contribution to the appropriate Retirement System in an amount equal to the coordinated rate (4% for covered employees; 5.5% for covered employees in the alternative formula).
