Length of Term. 29.2.1 The term of the Chairperson shall be two (2) years. A chairperson can serve at most for two (2) consecutive terms or four (4) years. 29.2.2 New Department Chairs will participate in a brief training to review the responsibilities of the position, create a problem-solving agenda for the department and cultivate the leadership strengths necessary to successfully carry out the assigned duties. The training will include new chairs, the Vice President of Academic Affairs, and the Supervising Administrator.
