Length of Term. i. Full-time faculty representatives on the dismissal review committee shall be elected to a three-year term. ii. The terms of the regularly elected representatives shall commence on October 1 of the year in which they are elected and shall expire on September 30 of the year in which their term expires, but shall continue until their successors are elected. iii. The initially elected representatives shall draw lots for a one-, two- or three-year term. When a vacancy occurs in one or more of the unexpired terms, the Vice President of Instruction and the Association President shall convene the full-time faculty as soon as possible in order to elect a representative to fill the unexpired term. No faculty member shall succeed himself/herself until at least a one-year interval has elapsed. iv. The District President shall appoint the administrative representatives prior to October 1 of each academic year and shall set the date that the dismissal review committee shall meet for organization. The terms of the administrative representatives shall commence on October 1 of the year in which they are appointed and shall expire on September 30 of the year in which their term expires and shall continue until their successors are appointed.
