Letter to employee and reply. (a) If the Deputy Vice-Chancellor believes an allegation of misconduct or serious misconduct warrants further investigation he/she will: notify the employee of the allegation(s) in writing, in sufficient detail to enable the employee to understand the precise nature of the allegations and to properly consider and respond to them; and require the employee to submit a written response within 10 working days. The Deputy Vice-Chancellor may agree to an extension to the 10 day requirement if it is reasonable in the circumstances.
