Common use of Letters of Permission Clause in Contracts

Letters of Permission. a. The Board shall inform the Association in writing of its intention to apply for a Letter of Permission. The Association shall be provided with the names and qualifications of all applicants for the position prior to the application for a Letter of Permission. b. Persons hired in the district on a Letter of Permission shall be paid on the scales indicated in Article B.1 (Salary) in accordance with the number of successfully completed years a teacher has gained at university, less one (1) year, but not exceeding Category PB(5) maximum. c. Teaching experience will be recognized in accordance with Article B.1.7 (Recognition of Experience).
