Common use of Level II – Formal Clause in Contracts

Level II – Formal. A. If the complaint is not resolved through Level I informal discussions, the employee may file a Level II grievance at the next level of supervision that may include the Department Head, Agency Head or City Manager. If the next level of supervision is the Agency Head, the grievance will automatically proceed at Level III, no later than 10 working days after the response of the immediate supervisor at Level I. If the next level of supervision is the City Manager, the grievance will be automatically processed at Level IV no later than 10 working days after the response of the immediate supervisor at Level I. The grievant will state the following clearly and concisely on a grievance form provided by the City:
