Common use of Level One - Formal Clause in Contracts

Level One - Formal. The grievant may submit a formal, written grievance to his/her Building Principal or Immediate Supervisor who will, within ten (10) days of receipt of said grievance, schedule a conference with grievant and either side’s representative(s). Resolution of the grievance will be reduced to writing and signed by the parties. This shall conclude the process. If the agreement is not reached during the meeting, the Building Principal will render a written decision within ten (10) days following the conference and forward that decision to the grievant. Copies of the decision will be mailed to the Association President and the Superintendent.
